Video, Film and Audio Transfers
Video Tape Transfers
We transfer video tapes to digitized files with industrial tape machines. Formats include VHS, S-VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS-C, Video8, Hi8, Digital8, Betamax, MiniDV, Betacam, Betacam SP, DVCAM, Betacam SX, DigiBeta, MPEG IMX and HDV. Files are saved in Quicktime Movie (.mov) format or other formats upon request.
Standard Service includes time base correction (TBC), dynamic noise reduction (DNR) and removal of blank tape space.
Gold Service includes TBC, DNR, blank tape space removal, software noise reduction, software audio enhancement, color and exposure correction and titles at the beginning and end.
Film Transfers
8mm and Super 8 film is cleaned prior to transferring and then converted to digitized files in QuickTime Movie (.mov) format. 8mm and Super 8 silent film transferred frame-by-frame to high definition files.
Gold Service includes color and exposure correction and titles at the beginning and end of the movie.
Vinyl and Cassette Transfers
Transfer your vinyl and shellac records, cassettes and micro cassettes to digital audio files. Vinyl is deep cleaned prior to the conversion. Audio files provided in WAV and 320kbps MP3 formats. Options include automated pop/click filtering for vinyl transfers, track splits and track labeling.
Gold Service includes audio software enhancements and manual pop/click filtering on vinyl and hiss removal with audio software enhancements on cassettes.
Photo Scanning
Digitize your photo prints, slides and negatives in high resolution. We support Polaroid, 35, 110, 120, 126, 127, 620, 828, Kodak disc, APS, Minox, 220 and large formats. Prints scanned at 600 dpi resolution; negatives and slides scanned at 2400, 3200 and 4800 dpi. File format options are TIFF for archiving and JPEG for normal viewing.
